Based on the famed HPDL-1414 displays from HP, this board not only gives you 16 digits of ultra sharp retro LED magic, but brings the display into the 21st century with TTL serial and I2C commands to make it easy to control from your microcontroller!

The displays themselves need 5V to run, but we've designed this board so you can use I2C or serial at 3.3V levels, so you don't need a voltage converter for the IO.

This display is one of the most fun ones that we've made - and you still see them around on alarm control panels and the like!
